Fly Screen Products

The requirement for fly proofing is reflected in the Statutory Regulations covering areas where food is prepared or sold. The Food Safety (General Food Hygiene) Regulations 1995 state that: ‘In rooms where food is prepared, treated or processed ….. windows ….. which can be opened to the outside environment must where necessary be fitted with insect-proof screens which can be easily removed for cleaning’.

Bioguard supply and install custom-made, aluminium framed, powder coated insect screens with either PVC coated fibreglass or stainless steel mesh to suit all window and door types. Screens are an essential aid to preventing the ingress of flying insects whilst at the same time maintaining adequate ventilation. Our fly screen windows have mitred corners and a flat smooth face that make them unobtrusive and easy to clean. The screens can be fitted over many different types of windows and openings. On all of our window screens a variety of mesh materials (PVC coated fibreglass or stainless steel) and weave sizes can be fitted to suit individual requirements. All window screens are powder coated and are available in white or brown. Our fly screen doors can be fitted over wooden, PVCu and metal doors. All of our fly screens are purpose made and manufactured from strong extruded aluminium sections. They can include a decorative protective grille to stop the insect mesh from being pushed or kicked out. All fly screen doors are powder coated and are also available in white or brown.

Our PVC strip curtain doors offer a high degree of clarity that ensures clear visibility to and from your working area. Our PVC strip doors offer the most economical solutions to protect employees and goods from adverse environmental conditions such as noise, heat, cold, humidity, dust and drafts. For refrigeration purposes we offer our Extreme PVC Strip which will remain unaffected in temperatures as low as -45 degrees. All bulk roll products are extruded with rounded edges and are manufactured from self-extinguishing flexible PVC, which will not support combustion.
