Respect for our environment and the creatures we control, necessitates a responsible attitude to the use of chemicals and associated control methods in the management of all species. Bioguard is aware of the potential risk of chemical exposure to non-target species and the environment and has procedures in place covering storage, transportation, application and waste disposal to guard against this eventuality. All pesticides utilised by Bioguard are approved under the Control of Pesticides Regulations and are used in accordance with these regulations and the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations. Concerned by potential damage to the environment by certain pesticides, Bioguard uses CFC free, biodegradable and recyclable products wherever possible. Bioguard does not use pesticides listed on the UK Red List or EC Black List.
We are very proud of our continuing reputation for supplying a high quality and environmentally aware service. Bioguard is an approved member of the British Pest Control Association (BPCA), are accredited by Achilles UVDB, and hold both ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 qualifications.
